The Accounts Section of RIE, Bhubaneswar is looking after the financial and accounting aspects of the Institute as per Government of India guidelines. The section is maintaining the accounts in a computerised manner ensuring the accuracy. The section is developing various methods for better monitoring and managing financial data and to serve every stakeholders/individual of the institute at the earliest. The section monitor cash flow in accordance with budget received from council Headquarter as per GOI guidelines.
The main function of the of Accounts section to cater the needs of financial matters in respect of the staff members of the Institute and DMS school and students. The main objective of the section to monitor all the transaction of the Institute and DMS. It also monitors the Cash Flow, Budget of the Institute and DMS. Accounts section process all the TA/DA/ LTC/CEA claim all firms/agency/ Pay and Allowance of the Institute and DMS staff members Accounts section comprises of one Accounts officer, one Senior Accountant and one Junior Accountant. Senior Accountant monitors the Accounts section and also one UDC, one cashier and 3 LDC and 2 MTS staff. Account officer monitors the over all position of section. The financial data/accounts of the account section being audited by both external audit (CAG) BBSR, and Internal Audit From Council i.e. IAC (internal audit cell) NCERT, New Delhi.It is well equipped with computers, printers, software packages etc. which are essential for the Financial management of an Institute.
