ICT Activities

UNESCO Bangkok has declared the Computer Application Centre of Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Bhubaneswar as the Resource Centre for ICT in Education.Computer Application centre of Regional Institute of Education Bhubaneswar has organised a good number of Training programmes and workshops for the teacher educators of Eastern Region of the country on ICT in Education.Learning materials and Training packages have been developed by the computer Application Centre for the Teacher Educators and key resource persons. The list of the learning materials and training programmes are presented below.

Collection :

It has a collection of good number of resources (ebooks, open source softwares,projects based on content-pedagogy-technology integration,Pc,laptops etc.)

ICT in Pre-service teacher education programes

  • ICT has been integrated in to various pre-service teacher education programes, such as, 4 year integrated B.Sc.B.Ed, 4 year integrated B.A.B.Ed, 2 year B.Ed, M.Ed and M.Sc.Ed (Life Scinece).
  • Pre-service teachers of various programes get oppertunity to develop the competency of integrating ICT with Pedagogy.
